Stio, the Jackson Hole, Wyoming-based mountain lifestyle brand, plans to open its newest Mountain Studio in Stowe, Vermont, on December 19.

Located in Stowe Village, in a building constructed in the late 1800s and part of the Stowe Historic District, was once owned by the Mansfield family, namesake of Vermont’s highest peak, Mount Mansfield, and home to Stowe Mountain Resort. The building has served as both a working barn and Jean Pau Patnode’s studio and home, and later as a gallery honoring American craftsmanship.

“We’re thrilled to join the Stowe community and open our doors in such a meaningful, historic location,” said Kris Nelson, retail director of Stio. “Stowe embodies everything we value: a strong sense of place, mountain heritage and a vibrant outdoor culture. We can’t wait to connect with the community and share our passion for life lived close to the mountains.”

The Stowe Mountain Studio marks Stio’s first retail location in Vermont and its 14th nationwide. The space will feature a full selection of branded apparel, footwear and accessories.
