In an effort to address responsible down sourcing, Stio — the Jackson Hole-based mountain apparel brand — announced it will source 100 percent of its Fall 2015 down collection through Allied Feather & Down, meeting the textile industry’s Responsible Down Standard that is designed to ensure down feathers are sourced from responsibly raised birds and to provide transparency for all aspects of the supply chain.

Allied Feather & Down has been providing many top brands in the outdoor industry with high-quality, Bluesign-approved down for more than 25 years and Stio joins the list of premium brands that are adhering to the strictest of down sourcing standards.

Stio’s Fall 2015 collection hits retailers in August and will include technical mountain wear and fashion-forward lifestyle apparel that “transitions from the epic to everyday moments of the mountain life.”
