Steyr Arms has completed the move to its new headquarters in the Merkel USA building (formerly the home of GSI) located in Trussville, AL. The new home of Steyr Arms consists of 25,000 square feet of warehouse and office space, and features an underground shooting range and test facility.

The company said the move comes as part of the acquisition and integration of Merkel USA, first announced at the 2010 SHOT Show and recently completed.

In addition to the Steyr-Mannlicher premium sporting and hunting rifles, Steyr Arms is now the sole U.S. importer and distributor of Merkel shotguns, rifles, drillings and combination arms; and the Anschutz Sporting Rifle Series.

“Over the course of the last two months, the move combined with the acquisition have been extremely taxing on all of our employees,” said Scott OBrien, Steyr Arms CEO. “With those transitions now complete, we are very excited to begin the next chapter for our company, as we support our growing customer base with some of the world’s best sporting and hunting arms. I feel the changes we have made will help tremendously as we continue to grow both the Steyr family of products as well as the Merkel and Anschutz products in the U.S.”
