Stein Mart, Inc. reported comparable store sales for the five-week period ended July 2, 2011 decreased 1.5 percent. Total sales for the period were $104.5 million, a decrease of 2.5 percent from $107.2 million in the same period in 2010. For the year to date, comparable store sales increased 0.7 percent and total sales decreased 0.1 percent to $506.5 million.
