S&S Activewear is closing its distribution center in York County, PA, affecting 127 jobs, according to a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN) notice.
The warehouse is at 600 Industrial Drive in Lewisberry. The closure, which began on December 4, is expected to take effect until April 1, 2026.
Marc Vitulli, SVP of marketing at the Illinois-based S&S, said in a media statement that the “closure is part of a network integration plan following its recent acquisition of Alphabroder.” The plan calls for consolidating several distribution centers.
“We have communicated these changes consistently throughout the past year, giving employees significant advance notice and access to robust support resources,” said Vitulli. “Our focus remains on ensuring a thoughtful transition and continuing to strengthen our network to better serve our customers.”
