Squaw Valley, a California year-round mountain destination offering world-class adventures in every season, and The North Face announced a three year partnership designed to bring official uniform status and events to the Lake Tahoe ski resort.

Beginning winter 2013-14, The North Face will be the official uniform of Squaw Valley. The North Face innovative and proven outdoor clothing technology was selected for Squaw Valley’s team members to stay warm and dry while working snowy winters on the mountain, no matter what the task at hand.

“We are genuinely thrilled to be partnering with The North Face in our retail division, as a strategic marketing partner and via our staff wearing their outstanding outdoor gear within our uniform program,” said Andy Wirth, president and CEO of Squaw Valley and Alpine Meadows. “The North Face is not only the leader in technical apparel but has a deep heritage founded on outdoor adventure – a real passion for the mountains and values that are very much aligned with our own.”

Also as part of the partnership, Squaw Valley and The North Face are working together to support events that engage the year round outdoor enthusiast.

“The North Face designs best in class products inspired by athletes and tested on expeditions around the globe,” said Aaron Carpenter, Vice President of Marketing, The North Face. “We are pleased to partner with Squaw Valley to bring our technical apparel to the Squaw team and patrollers.”

The agreement will commence November 2012.
