The SportsOneSource Group market analyst Neil Schwartz will address camping consumers preferences and behavior during a panel discussion Thursday at Outdoor Retailer Winter Market alongside representatives from The Coleman Co. and The Outdoor Foundation.

The panel, “Understanding the Camping Consumer,” will convene in Salon E at the Salt Lake Marriott Downtown across the street from the Salt Palace Convention Center on Thursday at 12:30pm.  Panel members include:
Francis Abeywardane, Global Director of Insights & Innovation, The Coleman Company, a subsidiary of Jarden Corp.; Neil Schwartz, Vice President, Business Development & Market Insights, The SportsOneSource Group (SOS); and Ivan Levin, Senior Director, Programs and Outdoor Nation, The Outdoor Foundation.

Schwartz will discuss what survey data collected by SOS Research for the 2014 edition of the Outdoor Brand Strength Report says about the buying preferences and behavior of camping consumers.

“Camping is one of those activities that cuts across almost every outdoor product category,” said Schwartz. “As camping grows so will many of the activities that are done while people are on camping trips and camping vacations.”
