SportsOne appointed Robert Burke as senior partnership manager. Burke will secure and manage corporate partnerships for TrackTown12 at the U.S. Olympic Team Trials – Track & Field, Trail Blazers Street Jam and other sports and entertainment experiences produced by SportsOne.

Burke brings more than 20 years of international sports marketing experience to SportsOne, a sports and entertainment marketing company unrelated to The SportsOneSource Group, which publishes this newsletter. Burke will be responsible for developing new business and enhancing existing partnerships; in collaboration with partners, he will develop customized opportunities that leverage partners’ marketing investments and enhance overall event experiences for fans and consumers as well as partners and other stakeholders.

Prior to joining the SportsOne team, Burke spent 10 years with Nike USA and Australia; six years with Adidas USA and Australia; and two years as the vice president of global corporate challenge at an Australian health and well-being business. Burke also managed events and entertainment for the Australian Football League including the Grand Final, the league’s equivalent to the Super Bowl.
