Sportsman’s Warehouse will open seven new stores in the West and Pacific Northwest during the spring and summer of 2014, announced company CEO John Schaefer.

 

The stores are expected to open between March and July and will increase the number of Sportsman’s Warehouse locations to 54. While the Midvale, UT-based retailer is best known for its selection of hunting and fishing gear, it has been expanding its assortments of human-powered outdoor recreation gear.
 
“We are very pleased to increase our presence throughout the western United States in such a significant manner,” noted Schaefer. “The addition of these stores keeps with our business plan, promoting stable growth that will benefit our company, our vendors, and most importantly, our loyal customers for many years to come.”
 
Store openings will include Chico and Rancho Cordova in California, Wenatchee and Kelso in Washington, Hillsboro, Oregon; Carson City, Nevada; and Vernal, Utah.
