Sports Group International, an executive search firm serving recreational products companies and services organizations, announced the appointment of D.J. Kazmierczak as Executive Search Consultant.
Kazmierczak will be responsible for serving organizations that utilize sports marketing, sales, marketing, licensing, event management, and product development professionals. His clients will include professional and amateur sports organizations, motor sports, licensing & memorabilia companies, sports marketing agencies, and corporations that employ sports marketing professionals.
Kazmierczak, is the former Vice President of Hobby Sales and Marketing of Fleer Trading Cards. He was also responsible for product conceptualization, development, and commercialization of products bearing MLB, NHL, NBA, and NFL sports branding. Further, D.J. also worked on behalf of RC2, a Charlotte based licensed products company specializing in NASCAR branded trading cards, apparel, and die-cast toys.
Prior to his employment in the licensed products industry Kazmierczak spent 9 years with Capitol Broadcasting, the Raleigh NC based CBS TV affiliate, as Sports Producer, Reporter, and Photographer.
A resident of Charlotte, NC, Kazmierczak received his Bachelor of Arts from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. He is also a member of the National Association of Personnel Services.
