Sports Authority has finished remodeling all of their stores in the Miami/Fort Lauderdale area. The remodeled stores are equipped with an intuitive new store design and specialty sport shops with products from top brands like Nike, Under Armour, adidas, The North Face and more. These new Sports Authority stores are dedicated to bringing all things sporting good to the entire South Florida community. By providing industry-leading customer service and extensive product knowledge, Sports Authority encourages South Florida to come together through the power of play.

“We are excited about the grand reopening of the Sports Authority stores in the Miami/Fort Lauderdale area,” said Michael E. Foss, Chief Executive Officer of Sports Authority. “Sports Authority believes in celebrating the good of sport, and we are delighted to bring this philosophy to all 14 locations we have throughout South Florida while providing great value and outstanding service to the families and recreational athletes in their communities.”

To celebrate the grand reopenings, the first 250 customers at each store will receive Mystery Bucks that range up to $500 in value. There will also be hourly $100 gift card drawings on Saturday from 9am to 6pm, and customers can enter for a chance to win a $500 Sports Authority shopping spree (entry period runs April 26–27) as well as a GoPro HERO3+ camera and accessories (enter April 26).

Plus, on Sunday, April 27 only, the first 200 customers to spend $75 or more will receive a Sports Authority cooler.

On Saturday, April 26, Miami Defensive End Cameron Wake will be at the East Fort Lauderdale store between 1 and 2:30pm, Miami Wide Receiver Brian Hartline will be at the Coral Springs store between 4 and 5:30pm, Miami Running Back Lamar Miller will be at the Dadeland Station store between 1 and 2:30pm, former Miami Center Alonzo Mourning will be at the Kendall store between 4 and 5:30pm and women’s national volleyball head coach Karch Kiraly from 11:30am and 1 pm.

Customers are invited to join The League, Sports Authority’s loyalty program, which gives members a point for every dollar spent. Within a quarterly period, members who earn 100 points or more will receive 5% back on all in-store purchases.
