SportHill has added Vernon W. Hill II, former chairman, president, and CEO of Commerce Bancorp as member of the company's advisory board. Initially an owner of a string of successful Burger King franchises, Hill revolutionized the banking industry by instituting a consumer-friendly approach to banking that emphasized service and accessibility. His motto for Commerce was “America's most convenient bank,” as he kept banks open on Saturday and Sunday, and shortened customer waiting time for tellers by opening additional windows as lines formed.  Hill grew Commerce Bank from one location to over 435 locations with assets of $50 billion.

Hill was identified as one of the “most original minds in business” in a 2006 book, “Mavericks at Work: Beyond Business as Usual.” He has been listed as one of the “125 Most Influential People and Ideas” by Wharton Alumni Magazine. Hill also founded and helped design one of the top golf courses in the USA, Galloway National Golf Club in Galloway Township, NJ. Currently, Mr. Hill is a principal in Hill-Townsend Capital, an investment firm based in Chevy Chase, Maryland.
