Sport Chek, Canada's sporting goods chain, announced the grand opening of its Calgary Downtown store. The location is added to the growing list of redesigned stores, reflecting a more modern, lighter look in terms of feel and neutral finishes that are enhanced with punches of blue.
Forzani Group, Spork Chek's parent, said portable and versatile walls along with uninterrupted drive aisles provide a brighter open concept allowing for easier customer navigation, better representation of products and enhanced brand shops.
“We are excited to provide a customized downtown shopping experience with our expanded mid to high end product collections to better serve the needs and expectations of the downtown clientele,” said Mark Hindman, VP, corporate marketing at Forzani Group. “Our intent is to reinforce our commitment to the Calgary community and our brand.” The new store is located on Stephen Avenue Walk. Grand Opening events commence Thursday, June 25.
