Sport Chalet and California State University, Northridge (CSUN) Athletic Department entered a multi-year partnership in which Sport Chalet will be the official apparel and equipment provider to the Matador athletic teams. The partnership is designed to build brand awareness and provide additional support to the school's sporting and community events.

Their dedication to the community and ability to align with CSUN's athletics overall vision makes this a perfect partnership,” said Dr. Brandon Martin, Director of Intercollegiate Athletics at CSUN. “The Community Action Pass will enable our fans, students, faculty and alumni to become engaged and contribute to the continued growth of CSUN Athletics. Adding a brand like Sport Chalet to our growing list of corporate sponsors is a huge win for us.”
In addition to creating convenient access to top apparel and equipment offered by Sport Chalet, existing and new Sport Chalet Action Pass members will have the opportunity within their account profile to designate CSUN as their school of choice. Upon selection, Sport Chalet will automatically donate 3.3 percent of every purchase made by the corresponding Action Pass member (in store or online) to the Matador athletics program.

California State University, Northridge, located in the San Fernando Valley is the largest University in the Cal State System, with enrollment of over 42,000 students. The Athletic Department competes in 19 Men's and Women's NCAA Division 1 sports.
