SOLE and Chris Davenport Collaborate on Snow Sports-Specific Footbed

SOLE, the manufacturer of footbeds, socks and shoes, has collaborated with skier and mountaineer Chris Davenport to develop a snow sports-specific footbed. Available to consumers in early Fall 2011, the Signature CD Thin was purpose-built to perform in winter environments.

“This was a fun project, because Dav is so passionate about the products
he uses,” says Rob Nathan, SOLE's Product Director. “We actually
delayed the product launch a full year to get everything dialed.”

“I've been using SOLE's products for a few years already, so I was
thrilled to join their team and provide input in the design process,”
adds Chris Davenport. “A supportive footbed that provides a precise fit
and aids in alignment is one of the most important, often overlooked
pieces of ski gear.”
