Sof Sole, the footbed, hosiery and shoe accessory brand, announced a partnership with SKYDEX Technologies, Inc., the innovator of technologies that mitigate shock, vibration and energy forces for military and commercial applications to incorporate SKYDEX’s patented shock absorbing technology in Sof Sole's line of performance insoles.
SKYDEX will partner with Sof Sole by licensing its patented geometric twin-hemisphere technology for use in the Sof Airr line of performance insoles. The SKYDEX thermoplastic polyurethane solution has proven far more effective and far more resilient than foam products in a wide array of applications that require impact mitigation. The technology is primarily used in products that provide head to toe protection of troops and military equipment, but is also used in athletic footwear and other commercial applications.
