Snow Peak, an outdoor lifestyle company, named Yuji Bando as general manager of North American operations.
An avid outdoorsman and sports enthusiast, Bando spent nearly 10 years working for Burton Japan in a variety of positions. In 2016 he received his MBA from Waseda University before signing on as senior manager of apparel at Snow Peak.
“I see the U.S. as the perfect place to promote Snow Peak as not just the outfitter for people who want to go camping but as a lifestyle for all people,” said Bando. “There’s a great deal of opportunity for Snow Peak to grow in the U.S. and I look forward to leading our talented team towards that growth.”
Bando will be based at the Snow Peak USA headquarters in Portland, OR.
