Smith Optics introduces its newest models for the 2005-06 season, the Transit Regulator, and the re-designed Cascade Pro, Cascade and Cascade Turbo Fan.

The Transit, the newest member of the Regulator Series, is the little sister to Smith’s high-end goggle, the Anthem. The Transit is designed for smaller faces and features Smith’s Regulator lens ventilation system as well as articulating outriggers for helmet compatibility. This goggle will be offered in eight colors; black, white, silver, ice blue, black chrome fade, black blue chrome fade, metallic pink and metallic purple, with the entire range of mirrored and non-mirrored lens tints. Suggested retail price points are $55 with a standard lens and $75 with a mirror.

The Cascade re-enters Smith’s Turbo Fan Series with an updated style. The Cascade Turbo Fan uses Smith’s two-speed micro-electronic fan. The Cascade’s medium face fit can fit male and female faces ranging from smaller to larger. Suggested retail for the Turbo Fan model is $130 with a standard lens, and $150 with a mirrored lens. At the mid-range, Smith re-introduces the Cascade Pro, which features custom-painted frame colors, a clip buckle strap, and Smith’s Airflow lens, at a suggested retail of $40. Also available at the price point below is the Cascade, with Airflow lens, at a suggested retail of $35.

In addition, Smith is introducing a collection of specialty strap and frame graphics, available in many models and colors across the Spherical and Regulator lines. Working in conjunction with the Nemo Design in Portland, the line now offers nine unique frame and/or strap graphic combinations. All specialty Prodigy, Anthem, and Fuse goggles will be offered with mirrored lenses, at the same price as the standard mirrored lens price.
