Smith Optics appointed Mallory Burda as its new endurance promotions manager, where she is overseeing the growth of eyewear and accessories for the company’s cycling, triathlon and running divisions.


An avid road cyclist and mountain biker, Burda brings a passion for the outdoors to her new position at Smith along with her industry experience working with retailers, athletes and consumers. She spent the past four years as the USA sports marketing specialist at Specialized Bicycles, providing her keen insight into endurance sports, athletes, media, events, and key players in those markets. Her experience managing successful endurance sports marketing programs is complemented by her strong work ethic and personable disposition.


Burda will be based out of the Smith headquarters in Ketchum, ID and she will report to Senior Promotions Manager Gabe Schroder.
