SmartWool Corporation will hold its first-ever Servapalooza, a global celebration of service driven by SmartWool's parent company, Timberland. On September 21, 2006, more than 6,200 Timberland volunteers around the world will act on their common commitment to make a difference in their communities through service.

In Steamboat Springs, roughly 26 SmartWool employees will spend the day working with Routt County Foundation for Senior Citizens. SmartWool employees will clean-up, paint, help clients with personal projects and generally improve and beautify the physical space of two un-assisted senior living centers in Steamboat Springs, CO. Additionally, 9 members of the SmartWool Boulder satellite office will be participating in a trail building project with the International Mountain Bicycling Association (IMBA) for the Boulder County Parks & Open Space at the Heil Valley Ranch.

The Steamboat Springs service events take place in two locations; Selbe Apartments located at 500 Rolling Stone Rd. & Mountain View Manor located at 629 Pine St. The Boulder service event takes place at the Heil Trailhead in Boulder, CO.
