SkiLogik has hired Katie Sowyrda as director marketing and Stefan Bast as director of sales operations.

We couldnt be happier to have Katie and Stefan on board at this exciting time of growth for the brand, said Founder & CEO, David Mazzarella. They each bring unique experiences and industry relationships that will catapult SkiLogik to the next level.

Sowyrda comes to SkiLogik from the Outdoor Industry where she has spent the better part of a decade combining her love of the outdoors with her passion for marketing.

SkiLogik has a unique story to tell, they make high performance, hand-crafted skis, and they do it in a beautiful way,” Sowydra said. “I cant wait to help tell that story and get these skis onto more feet.

Bast is no stranger to the SkiLogik brand. An avid skier, he has been an ambassador, friend, and Wearer of Many Hats for the company almost since its beginning.

Stefan was already like part of the family, so when we created this position, we knew exactly who we wanted to fill it, said Founder & CEO David Mazzarella. “With an International MBA from the University of Denver, and a ski industry background, Bast is excited to bring his expertise and full focus to growing the SkiLogik brand, and managing the Breckenridge offices.”

Both Sowyrda and Bast are planning to be on hand at SkiLogik’s booth at the the SIA Snow Show In Denver in January.

SkiLogik was founded in Breckenridge, CO in 2010, with one very clear and simple mission: to build the best skis possible. Since then, SkiLogik has racked up 30 performance awards and developed a passionate following amongst athletes, ski instructors and patrollers, and enthusiastic customers around the world. Recognized by the unique artwork on each pair that is handcrafted from wood veneer inlays, SkiLogik has been praised equally for its performance innovations as well as for its social responsibility and environmentalism.
