Skechers continues to advance in the run category with the recent drop of the Aero Razor. Combining Skechers Hyper Burst Pro Super Critical Foam technology with a reimagined design inspired by the company’s Razor 3, launched in 2018, the Aero Razor is an ultra-lightweight daily trainer.
“We hear countless runners speak highly of the Skechers Razor 3—a style many consider the pinnacle of the previous generation of Skechers running footwear. Now we’re honoring that legacy by bringing everything they love about Skechers Razor into the Skechers Aero Series,” said Ben Stewart, VP of Skechers Technical Performance Division. “We designed the AERO Razor for runners who value that tradition while wanting to stay ahead of the curve with the most advanced evolution of comfort and performance that only Skechers can offer. It is the latest example of our ongoing commitment to elevating running footwear for all levels of athletes.”
Skechers Aero Razor features Skechers Hyper Burst Pro midsole cushioning for a responsive ride, a patented forefoot H-wing for snap at toe-off and Skechers Arch Fit technology with podiatrist-certified arch support. The addition of Skechers Hyper Arc technology enhances efficiency during stride, helping runners maximize performance. The Goodyear rubber outsole delivers enhanced traction, stability and durability, while the engineered mesh upper and gusseted tongue offer a secure, comfortable fit. Weighing in at 6.9 oz/196 g in men’s size 9 and 5.6 oz/159 g in women’s size 7, with a stack height of 36mm to 32mm and a 4mm offset, the Aero Razor is lightweight and made for speed and smooth stride.
The Skechers Aero Series of technical running shoes spans a range of styles, including the well-cushioned Skechers Aero Burst for distance runners and Skechers Aero Spark for daily training—both available with Skechers Hands Free Slip-ins technology. The Series also features the Skechers Aero Tempo for speed work, among other performance-driven designs.
