Sims snowboards has officially established a Canadian based office to service its North American dealer base. The new office, which has been open and home to the Sims product, marketing and sales team since February 2005, has expanded its role to include servicing the dealer base both in Canada and the United States.

Sims is pleased to announce that Kevin Page, a snowboard industry veteran with extensive experience in customer service, warranty and technical background, is on board and will be the core of the new group to work with dealers and ITOCHU International Inc., Sims' New York-based licensing partner, to better service the dealers. Two of ITOCHU International’s core competencies focus on brand management and international retail distribution, relying on the ITOCHU’s history of managing well-known brands and maximizing their potential across the company’s 80-country-strong distribution network.

“The establishment of this new office is a tangible sign to the trade that ITOCHU International is “in” the snowboard trade for the long haul but it is also born out of a sincere desire to provide quality snowboard focused service to our dealers and reps,” said Michael Tadgell, General Manager of Sims.
