Sierra Trading Post, the outdoor e-tailer, announced the grand opening of its new Fort Collins Technology Campus (FCTC) at 2002 Caribou Dr. Sierra Trading Post will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony on March 23 from noon to 1 p.m. The 4,700-square-foot office will accommodate full-time, technology-focused employees as well as employees from other divisions who will split time between the FCTC and company headquarters in Cheyenne, WY.

“Our company has grown from a small catalog retailer to an online powerhouse because we invest in technology solutions,” says Gary Imig, president of Sierra Trading Post. “We continue to hire the best talent in the industry – in Wyoming and now in Colorado – to create ways for customers to shop our site and interact with us however they choose and wherever they are.”

The FCTC is centrally located just off Timberline Road between Horsetooth Road and Harmony Road. It offers easy access to I-25, CSU, downtown and the Power Trail. Built in 2004, the energy-efficient space offers approximately 30 cubicles as well as private offices and a conference room. Sierra Trading Post also has the option to expand the FCTC by leasing out the neighboring 3,900-square-foot suite.

“The building is designed and wired to suit a technology-focused business, so it's a great fit for Sierra Trading Post's current and future needs,” says Dave Marvin, owner of the multi-suite building. “Technology is an important industry for Fort Collins because it brings good jobs to the area, and we definitely have the talent to fulfill openings in the technology sector.”

“We are pleased to welcome Sierra Trading Post as a new member of the Chamber. They're a great addition to the community and will fit in well with the active lifestyle of Fort Collins residents,” says David May, president & CEO, Fort Collins Area Chamber of Commerce.
