SnowSports Industries America has extended its partnership with Ski Press World, Inc. for production, publication and distribution of the Snowpress Show Daily through the 2009 SIA SnowSports Trade Show. Ski Press World began publication of the show daily at the 2003 SIA Show.

In partnership with Ski Press World, the Snowpress Show Daily has shown significant growth in page counts, advertising dollars and print distribution numbers since its debut. Each copy of the show daily is also electronically distributed each morning during the SIA Show to attendees and non-attendees with a reach of nearly 40,000 people via Ski Press World’s industry leading website, www.skipressworld.com, as well through a link to SIA’s resource-rich website, www.thesnowtrade.org. Digital copies of each issue from last season’s show are still available at both skipressworld.com and thesnowtrade.org.

Two years ago, SIA and Ski Press World developed a new distribution program to send bundled copies of the Snowpress Show Daily to nearly 2,000 retail storefronts who did not attend the SIA Show. “This program has been instrumental in helping us better promote the Show to non-attendees and give these retail shops a taste of what they are missing,” said Alicia Allen, associate director of public relations at SIA. “It is one of the most extensive tools we produce from our Show and the dailies have a relatively long shelf life.” SIA and Ski Press are currently working on the development of a large outreach program to include resorts, reps and other non-attendees industry groups through additional distribution of the Snowpress Show Daily.

At the SIA.06 SnowSports Trade Show, SIA, in cooperation with the Snow Press Show Daily, presented the 2006 SIA Retailers of the Year awards to eight retail shops throughout the US. Winners of the 2007 SIA Retailer of the Year will once again be acknowledged at the SIA Show.
