Shoe Show, Inc. promoted Sara Parker to VP of Operations and Merchandising for the company’s Half-Moon Outfitters division, effective January 1, 2026.

Parker brings over 25 years of experience with Half-Moon Outfitters to the role and is a steady hand after the January retirement of Half-Moon’s founder, Beezer Molten.

Over the course of her career, Parker has reportedly served in nearly every facet of the business, including sales associate, store manager, buyer, director of sales, general manager, and, most recently, director of Operations and Merchandising. Her progression through the organization is said to “reflect both her deep operational knowledge and her steadfast commitment to the brand’s culture and community-driven mission.”

Molten was named vice president following the company’s acquisition by Shoe Show, Inc., and retired in mid-January 2026. He shared his confidence in Parker’s leadership:

“This is a great moment for Half-Moon Outfitters, and I couldn’t be more excited to pass the torch to Sara B. Parker as she steps into the role of leading this extraordinary organization,” Molten shared. “No one understands Half-Moon Outfitters’ unique DNA better than Sara. She has climbed the Grand Teton, run triathlons, and at the same time has a deep command of our historic buying strategies and the special requirements that make new Half-Moon Outfitters stores successful.”

Lisa Tucker, President and CEO of Shoe Show, Inc., also expressed her confidence in Parker’s leadership, “Sara’s journey with Half-Moon Outfitters exemplifies dedication, vision, and an authentic connection to the outdoor lifestyle that defines the brand. We have great confidence in her ability to help lead, guide, and direct the future growth of Half-Moon Outfitters. We trust that Sara will honor and maintain the core of who Half-Moon Outfitters is, while continually seeking opportunities to expand its boundaries and embrace new growth.”

The company said Parker has, throughout her tenure, “played an instrumental role in strengthening vendor partnerships, refining merchandising strategies, and supporting the successful launch and performance of new store locations.

“Her leadership reflects the authentic outdoor lifestyle that defines Half-Moon Outfitters and positions the brand for continued success,” the company added.

Sara Parker, a graduate of the University of South Carolina, earned a degree in Retail Management.
