Shininghub.com, a recently launched Chinese B2B platform for the global apparel and textile industry, said it will provide free factory audit and quality inspection services for all newly registered members as part of a global promotional launch.

ShiningHub International Apparel and Textile Service Platform was formally launched on Aug. 8th, 2011 in Beijing and at the Magic Show in Las Vegas. The company provides an online market where brands can do business directly with Chinese apparel and textile factories. Shininghub.com offers third-party verification and inspection services to ensure factories on its site meet brand’s fair labor, quality and other requirements.

“What ShiningHub's value lies in is its ability to save costs for buyers and sellers, which can significantly promote the development of the industry,” said Dr. Zheng Yusheng, the tenure professor of the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, at ShiningHub's launch ceremony.

The service will help China’s apparel and textile industry compete by providing service rather than just low price – a game which is increasingly being won by Bangladesh,  India, Indonesia and other Asian countries with lower labor costs, according to Sun Ruizhe, VP of China National Textile & Apparel Council.

“China accounts for 31% of global trade in textiles and clothing,” noted Ruizhe, at Shinging.com's opening ceremeony in Beijing. “The way forward from 'Made in China' will depend on 'service in China'. ShiningHub provides an open and transparent platform for international apparel and textile trade with the power of the Internet, which will greatly promote the development of 'service in China'.”
