Shift Events, the Golden, Colorado-based nonprofit cycling event organization, appointed Ben Pickel as chief revenue and marketing officer.
Pickel previously served as senior director of Foundation Operations and Partnerships at USA Triathlon, leading corporate partnership strategy and foundation operations. He also served for seven years as director of Strategic Partnerships at Life Time, Inc., exceeding revenue goals while managing partner relations and event activations.
His over 20 years of experience also includes stints at Endura, Inc., The NPD Group, SportsOneSource, and New Balance, as well as retail management at Gazelle Sports.
In his new role, Pickel will oversee revenue streams and integrated marketing for the company’s portfolio of seven Colorado cycling events, as well as corporate partnerships, retail operations, race registration growth, and brand activation strategy
