dmg world media, the group that also produces SurfExpo, will partner with the SGMA to launch the SGMA Team Sports Show and the SGMA Sports Licensing Show. Both shows are scheduled to take place June 9-11, 2008 at the Sands Expo Convention Center in Las Vegas, effectively replacing the SGMA Spring Market held for the first time this past June.  Together, the shows are projected to offer 700 booths.   TAG is still expected to partner on the show.


The partnership for these dmg world media-owned shows will see dmg world media managing the sales, marketing and operational aspects; while SGMA will be responsible for producing the educational program the runs alongside the shows.  SGMA will hand over production of the former SGMA Spring Market Show and will endorse the new dmg world media shows as the key buying events for their industry.
