The Sports & Fitness Industry Association (SFIA) received the “Good Sport in Philanthropy” award from Good Sports, for its work in youth sports and fitness nationwide. SFIA has served as an important gateway for Good Sports to the industry, resulting in more than $2 million in donations through that partnership.

“We’re honored to receive this award from our great partners at Good Sports,” said SFIA President and CEO Tom Cove, who received the reward on behalf of the organization. “The award is a reflection of our overall mission to promote sports and fitness participation. Our relationship with Good Sports allows our industry to give back to communities that may not otherwise have the opportunity.”

The “Good Sport in Philanthropy” award was given during the 11th Annual Legends of the Ball fundraiser held on Monday, May 19 at Fenway Park.
