Sellmark Corporation announces plans to expand its workforce by hiring new employees in sales, shipping and receiving, as well as other departments. Sellmark currently has 29 employees and will expand its workforce by 20 percent within the next few months and over 50 percent within the next 18 months.

“Opportunities are everywhere in this economy,” said James Sellers, Sellmark CEO. “Our biggest limiting factor is retaining key employees and fully developing new talent.”

Sellmark has received an overwhelming response from applicants in part due to its central location in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. Recent college graduates are also beginning the job hunt which has become a key element in the search.

The company is searching for valuable individuals who strive for success in their chosen career path. Chris Aylor, a recent hire, said, “The tremendous sales growth over the past five years, excellent products and great people all contributed to my decision to join the Sellmark team. I came in on the ground floor and have had great opportunities.”

Sellmark's strategy includes developing and maintaining the most complete outdoor product offering by launching and acquiring marketable brands. Sellmark recently updated the Sightmark brand website (www.sightmark.com). The brand was successfully launched in early 2007 and is becoming a major player in the outdoor industry. Sightmark products have won awards such as Editor's Choice in Outdoor Life magazine and Tester's Pick in Field & Stream magazine. Sellmark has recently acquired Mobile Hunter, Coyote Jakes and Amacker. In addition, the release of several new product lines will happen late 2009 and Sellmark is planning another brand introduction in the early half of 2010.

Sellmark just completed its first phase of expansion by adding a 15,000sq ft, state-of-the-art warehouse located minutes away from the Mansfield, TX office headquarters. The new warehouse significantly increases inventory capacity and has improved upon the overall efficiency while decreasing shipping errors. The warehouse expansion was fueled by Sellmark's consistent growth over the past decade.

“We were simply at capacity and we have plans to expand to a 50,000sq ft office and warehouse facility in Mansfield, TX by next year during our second phase of expansion,” said Jeb Doyle, warehouse manager.

Sellmark continues its growth and success despite the current economic situation which has recently been perceived as flat. Contributing to Sellmark's steady growth is the constant focus on developing feature-rich products that are the best value in the market.

Dianna Sellers, Sellmark Executive Vice President, stated, “Sellmark has been able to maintain our competitiveness by keeping production efficient, overhead low and by offering the best products within our respective price point. All this combined with a great team of dedicated employees creates our formula for success.”

Other factors that contribute to Sellmark's success include dedicated media professionals, who are open to test and review new products; as well as the supportive Mansfieldcommunity.

“Mansfield is a wonderful place to operate a business and raise a family due to its central location and strong community support,” said James Sellers. “Sellmark looks forward to the next phase of expansion and is dedicated to providing excellent products in categories that are underserved or overlooked by the competition.”
