Sea to Summit more than tripled its sales in the first quarter of 2004 with 218% growth, thanks to an expanded product line and its new sales force (see BOSS_0410). Seven years ago the company launched its U.S. line with an assortment of travel liners, and has continuously been adding SKU’s to the mix. At OR Winter Market, Sea to Summit launched over 30 new products, accounting for much of the new growth.

“We have distinguished our brand by going beyond merely offering ingenious outdoor accessories,” Sea to Summit USA President Andrew Dunbar said. “Our dealers rave that our packaging and merchandising is what gets the customer to the cash register.”

The top selling products that have fueled the brand’s expansion are the Tek Towel and the Pocket Towel, the lightweight Dry Sacks, the Siliconized Nylon Stuff Sacks and the Reactor Thermolite Liner.
