Sea to Summit, the global adventure equipment brand headquartered in Western Australia, announced it added three employees to its North American sales team—Bill Chandler, Jaime Buyagawan and Maggie Doran

Outdoor industry veteran Bill Chandler joins the team as director of sales and will lead its North American wholesale business focused on sales and distribution strategies for the U.S. and Canadian markets. 

“Bill brings 25 years of deep and relevant industry experience,” said Josh Simpson, North American general manager. “I’m confident that he’s the right fit for Sea to Summit at this point in our journey, and I’m excited to have him as an ally as we strengthen our retailer partnerships and equip our team for exciting years ahead.” 

Jaime Buyagawan joins the company as a western senior sales manager, with 20 years of outdoor industry experience as a rep, sales manager and merchant. He will work closely with Chandler to serve the brand’s strategic partners, including REI, with the company’s independent accounts in western territories.

Maggie Doran joins Sea to Summit working in its Boulder, CO headquarters as sales manager, Central Regional, managing sales primarily in the Southwest, South Central and Rockies territories. Doran will also focus on the brand’s digital partnerships with online retailers, including Backcountry and Moosejaw.

After a successful launch into the lightweight tent category and several operational expansions across Canada and North America, Sea to Summit is thrilled to welcome the new sales team members,” said Chandler.
