SCOTT USA welcomes Jeremy “Jerms” Lanningham to the Art Department as a Senior Designer. With the addition of Jerms, the Art Department now consists of four key individuals committed to growing the Scott brand worldwide. Jerms will work closely with all Scott divisions; Wintersport, Motorsports and Bike. Jerms officially joined Scott on June 28, 2004.

“We are very excited to welcome Jerms to the Scott creative team,” said Joel Bernbaum, Scott USA’s Art Director. “Jerms’ knowledge and experience within the action sports industry will be invaluable to us in driving the brand.”

2001 marked a breakout year for Jerms. Less than 2 years after earning his BFA in illustration from Boise State University, he won the Design a Deck for Todd Richards Contest in Snowboard Magazine and landed the Assistant Design Director position with Transworld Snowboarding Magazine. Jerms continued to work for Transworld until 2003, at which point he dedicated himself to growing his freelance design company, NKTRNL. While freelancing, Jerms designed two more board graphics for Todd Richards and Rossignol Snowboards for the 2002 and 2003 seasons. Other freelance projects include work with Burton Snowboards, Transworld Media, Action Sports Group, Big Bear Mountain, Northstar at Tahoe, Snow Summit, Emerica, Sole Tech and many others. Jerms, a native of Boise, Idaho, recently returned to his home state from Southern California.

“I’m stoked to join the SCOTT USA design department,” Jerms states. “After learning a lot from my 3 years in SoCal, it will be nice to enjoy the outdoors and winter sports I grew up with.”
