Scott Sports SA appointed Matt Heitmann as the company’s first chief growth officer (CGO), a role that will oversee marketing and digital functions from its headquarters in Givisiez, Switzerland.
Heitmann brings extensive international industry experience, including leadership roles at Backcountry (U.S.), BMC (Switzerland) and Canyon (Germany). He also has a strong history with Scott, having served most recently as chief marketing officer for Scott USA.
“Scott has always adapted to meet the needs of riders and consumers,” stated Heitmann. “My focus will be to build on that legacy—ensuring we meet our customers where they are, strengthening our digital and brand positioning, and supporting our dealer network with a thoughtful multichannel approach.” Matt continued, “The pace of change in our industry is accelerating. To thrive, companies must embrace new technologies and respond to the evolving expectations of customers. Youngone and Scott’s ongoing investments show their commitment to the brand’s future, with a clear direction centered on digitalization, customer-centricity, and brand engagement.”

Scott Sports thanked the contributions of Reto Aeschbacher, who has led Scott’s global marketing efforts for nearly three decades. Aeschbacher will remain with the company through the end of September 2025 to ensure continuity and a smooth transition.
