Scheels officially announced its expansion in Colorado with a new flagship store scheduled to open in Littleton, located just south of Denver, in 2029. The more than 300,000-square-foot outpost joins existing stores in the state in Johnstown and Colorado Springs.

Strategically located along the C-470 corridor, Littleton Scheels is being planned as an anchor retailer alongside Costco at the new Mineral Place development. It will represent Scheels’ 38th store.

The flagship will include Scheels’ signature 60-foot hubless Ferris wheel, Rollerball bowling lanes, an interactive arcade, a 16,000-gallon saltwater aquarium stocked with tropical fish, a toy shop featuring an extensive Lego selection, a classic candy shop, and over 80 specialty shops.

“On behalf of our employee-owners, we could not be more excited to expand our footprint across Colorado’s Front Range,” said Scheels CEO Matt Hanson. “Our goal is always to deliver the best retail experience in the world, and this store represents our deepest commitment to that vision. We look forward to collaborating with local leadership, becoming a meaningful part of the Littleton community, creating hundreds of new career opportunities, and building a true destination to bring families together for years to come.”
