Scheels officially opened its newest location in Cedar Park, Texas, marking its second the location in Texas and 35th store overall.
The 300,000+ square-foot flagship store brings Scheels to Central Texas for the first time. It also has a store in The Colony, located in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex.
The Cedar Park location has over 80 specialty shops supporting brands across sports, outdoor, and fashion. Draws include a 65-foot indoor Ferris wheel, a 16,000-gallon saltwater aquarium, a custom wildlife mountain, sports simulators, and Ginna’s Café.

The store supports more than 500 associates, bringing the employee-owned Scheels national workforce to over 14,000.
