Saxx Underwear Co. announced the addition of Erik Darby as its newly appointed U.S. Sales Director. Darby brings over 14 years of senior sales management experience to this newly created position and will be based in Carlsbad, CA.

Most recently Darby was Director of Sales at Oakley. Prior to that he held executive positions as Vice President of U.S. and International Sales at SPY Optic and VP of Sales at Pony. Darby was also Director of Sales at Converse for more than five years during the brands resurgence and ultimate sale to Nike.

“I am excited to add someone with Erik's experience to the Saxx leadership team,” said Tim Bartels, CEO of Saxx. “Erik has managed, led and scaled premium brands in sales leadership roles. Erik will be leading our U.S. sales teams and our multi-channel sales initiatives. This includes leading and executing these initiatives across the Sport, Menswear and Intimates channels.”

Since the first production run of 200 pairs, the brand is now sold in more than 1600 retailers across Canada and the United States in a variety of styles and colors and is looking to extend its reach globally. Saxx said the addition of Darby is a sign of the company's rapid growth and dedication to making the most comfortable men's underwear available for active consumers.
