Salomon USA has appointed Isaac Wilson to the position of Salomon USA Nordic product category manager.
Wilson, formerly Director of the White Pine Touring Center in Park City, UT is now responsible for the overall product-to-market execution of Salomon Nordic products for the US as well as managing the Nordic assortments and merchandise plans.
Wilson spent 14 years as a professional cyclist and multi-sport racer. He was on the Salomon Adventure Racing World Championship and Eco Challenge Championship teams. He continues to be an accomplished Nordic skier and competitor.
“Isaac brings a unique pedigree to this role. He has all the credentials and authenticity from his athletic accomplishments combined with an intimate knowledge of the Nordic business through the eyes of the consumer,” says Amer Sports Winter and Outdoor Americas Winter Sports Equipment VP Mike Adams. “He will be a key contributor in managing the Salomon Nordic brand in the US.”
