Salomon has appointed Jason Lewis and Clerc Bertrand as U.S. field sales managers, with Lewis covering accounts in the West and Bertrand covering accounts in the East.
“Jason and Clerc represent exactly the kind of leadership we need as we enter the next phase of growth in the Performance category,” said John Meadows, director of business sales, performance, Salomon. “Both bring the experience and relationships to lead their respective regions with thoughtful distribution, guided by rigor, accountability, and discipline in every decision we make. We’re focused on being great partners and building on the foundation we’ve established within run and outdoor specialty, all while staying true to who we are as the modern mountain sports lifestyle brand.”
Jason Lewis joins Salomon with over 15 years of experience in the performance footwear industry, spanning specialty running, outdoor, wholesale, and key account leadership at brands including New Balance and Hoka. A former NCAA cross-country runner at Auburn University, Lewis will lead sales agencies across the Western region, managing Snowden & Co., Yukon Trading Co., Cordillera, and KSI.
“I’m incredibly excited to join Salomon and get to work with this team,” said Lewis. “Running and the running industry have been a big part of my life for a long time, so the opportunity to join a brand with Salomon’s rich outdoor heritage, history in the sport, and all the energy around the brand right now feels really special. I’m excited to get out there, connect with our partners, and help build what’s next.”
Clerc Bertrand returns to the running and outdoor industry following a career that has included collegiate athletics and leadership roles at Florida State and LSU, supporting revenue growth, corporate partnerships, and strategic initiatives. She began her career in specialty run and outdoor sales, including time with Brooks, and is also a former collegiate runner. As field sales manager, Bertand will manage retail relationships in the eastern region, leading High Plains Outdoor Group, TJM, Podium, USA, and Vert Outdoors sales agencies.
“You can feel the momentum the brand is building, and that energy is really exciting,” said Bertrand. “Combining a brand with so much equity, heritage, and trust around the world with the opportunity we have in running feels a little like lightning in a bottle. I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity to join Salomon and this team at such an exciting time, and I can’t wait to get to work alongside our team and retail partners to build on that momentum.”
