Royal Precision has inked a new partnership with Lamkin Grips of San Diego. Royal Grip and Lamkin Grip co-branded products have enjoyed tremendous success in Asia. As a part of the new agreement, Royal Precision receives exclusive distribution rights to sell Lamkin Grips throughout much of the Far East, including Japan, Korea, Taiwan and Hong Kong. In exchange, Lamkin Grips gains much of Royal Precision’s high-volume production of Royal Grip products.

“Asia is the fastest-growing golf market in the world, and this new strategic alliance between two high-quality grip manufacturers uniquely positions both of our companies in the Asian market,” says John Lauchnor, Royal Precision president and chief executive officer. “Royal Grip continues to be the leading grip brand in the Japanese market and we’re very excited about the expanding product offerings and distribution opportunities now open to us.”

“Royal Precision’s long-standing tradition of performance is one of the industry’s highest standards to which we have always admired. Similarly, at Lamkin Grip, we’re committed to the never-ending task of improving a golfer’s comfort, performance, confidence and enjoyment of the game,” adds Bob Lamkin, president and CEO of Lamkin Grip, a family-owned business for more than 75 years. “This agreement is a very positive step and will strengthen the brand awareness for both of our products in the very lucrative Asian golf market.”
