Rowbike, maker of full body work out equipment based in Agoura Hills, CA, has hired True North Brand Group, Inc., to lead its marketing communications efforts.

Years in the making, Rowbike was created by Rollerblade founder Scott Olson.

It allows fitness enthusiast to enjoy the type of full body workout that only a rowing machine can provide, but allows them to get outside and exercise all their muscle groups in the same manner as riding a bike. Users can pull back and forth on the handle bars to make the bike move while working muscles in the back, legs, torso and arms.

“We needed to reach a wider audience and help them understand the many unique ways Rowbike can help them bring their fitness to a new level and we're excited about our relationship with True North Brand Group as we work to achieve that goal,” said Karen Levy, director of marketing at Rowbike.
