Rossignol has completed the reorganization of its Nordic division, including a new Nordic division manager, the appointment of a new Nordic racing coordinator, and the addition of five-regional Nordic tech reps in addition to the existing sales force.
The new Nordic division manager, Ryan Green, is a long-time Rossignol employee. Green took over responsibilities for the division in October and is based from Rossignol's U.S. headquarters in Park City, UT.
Ira Edwards has been named to the newly-created racing coordinator position and is responsible for all elite-athlete management for the Nordic division. Well known in the racing community, Ira has been with Rossignol as a Nordic technical representative dating back to 1999. Based out of Anchorage, Alaska, Ira is also responsible for supporting Alaska's retail network in addition to his position as technical representative.
In Northern California, Roger Chaney continues to provide retail and race support. Roger began in this position in 2004 and takes great joy in helping people discover cross country skiing. It’s not uncommon to find Roger and his team of PSIA instructors providing learn-to-ski clinics for new cross country skiers.
Based in Breckenridge, CO, Dusty Olson returns to the Colorado market for the 2011-12 season. A former Junior National Champion, Dusty provides a strong technical understanding of Nordic skis and Nordic ski prep, making for some fantastic-skiing demo skis. Dusty is focused on working consumer and athlete events along Colorado’s I-70 corridor, helping to drive business to local retailers.
In the Midwest, long-time tech rep Luke Skinner is a real asset for Rossignol and the skiing community. Luke provides technical training to the Midwestern retail community, coordinates efforts at many races in the area, and works with the junior ski programs. Luke is an active participant in the racing world and is currently preparing for his 23rd Birkie.
A new addition to the tech rep group, Steve Bedard is based in New England. Steve recently graduated from UNH where he was a member of the ski team. Steve grew up on skis which lends to a strong athletic background and contagious passion for the sport. Steve is very excited to be in this new role and looking forward to working with junior athletes.
