Ross Stores, Inc. reported sales of $490 million for the four weeks ended Nov. 1, 2008, a 4% increase over the $470 million in sales for the four weeks ended Nov. 3, 2007.
Same store sales for the fiscal month declined 2% from the year ago period.
For the thirteen weeks ended Nov. 1, 2008, sales were $1.56 billion, a 6% increase over the $1.47 billion in sales for the thirteen weeks ended Nov. 3, 2007. Comparable store sales for the thirteen weeks were even with the prior year period.
