Snoop Dogg will headline the 2016 Rock ‘n’ Roll Las Vegas Marathon and Half Marathon, which was recently named by Forbes Travel Guide as one of the world’s Top 12 Best Marathons that are worthy of a trip. The entertainment icon will perform for more than 40,000 runners on Sunday, November 13 during the pre-race concert at 3 pm prior to the marathon and half marathon start.

“Snoop Dogg is an entertainer who needs no introduction,” said Josh Furlow, president of the Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon Series. “He’s one of the all-time great performers and we couldn’t be more excited to have him send off 40,000 runners on the Las Vegas Strip as we throw the biggest party of the year in running.”

The Snoop Dogg concert is one of the main attractions at the weekend of rocking and running as participants span across all 8 lanes of Las Vegas Boulevard, shutting down the Las Vegas Strip as they compete. Race highlights include Vegas sights such as the iconic “Welcome to Las Vegas” sign, the Fountains of Bellagio, and the Mirage volcano.
