Ridge has appointed active lifestyle industry veteran Brian White as SVP of Global Wholesale for the family-owned hardshell luggage and tech accessories brand. The company said it is “on pace to top $200 million in digital revenue this year.”

White is expected to lead Ridge’s global wholesale business, with plans to expand its presence across “premium retail, strategic partnerships and the industry’s most influential accounts.”

“Ridge has grown into one of the largest digitally native brands in its categories, with brand awareness that reaches well beyond its own channels and millions of customers,” the company said in a media release. “His appointment marks the company’s next phase of growth: capitalizing on that earned trust and highly engaged community to activate physical retail channels.”

White reportedly brings “decades of leadership experience across premium accessories, lifestyle brands and global commerce.” His career includes senior commercial roles with Nixon, where he “helped build the brand’s multichannel go-to-market strategy; Herschel Supply Co., where he contributed to the global growth of one of the accessories industry’s most influential brands; and, most recently, Brixton, where he served as chief commercial officer, said the company in a media release.

“I was drawn to Ridge because it has all the ingredients of a modern global brand,” White commented. “The product category is strong, the innovation across wallets and technology is real, and the performance-marketing capabilities are world-class. Ridge has already built incredible consumer power. The opportunity now is to translate that demand into a best-in-class wholesale business and create meaningful partnerships with the industry’s top accounts.”

White said two of his personal favorite personalities are Ridge partners Tony Hawk and Marques Brownlee. “That combination of product credibility, cultural relevance and authentic storytelling is difficult to replicate. It is a big part of what makes Ridge such an exciting brand to build with,” White added.

In his new role, White is expected to focus on “expanding Ridge’s global retail footprint, strengthening strategic account partnerships and creating a wholesale experience that reflects the same clarity, performance and product obsession that define the brand.”
