Seattle-based snowboard maker Ride added two seasoned sales reps to serve the Mid-Atlantic and Rockies territories.

New Jersey-based Charlie Kiesa, president of SandboxMetropolis (SBXMTPS ), brings more than a decade of industry experience to Ride and will lead sales in the mid-Atlantic region. Colorado-based Nate Love, founder of Stubs International, Inc., will manage sales in the Rockies territory and has been immersed in the outdoor and action sports industries for seven years.

Both reps bring volumes of snowboard-industry knowledge to Ride, and their collective sales acumen will help lead brand growth and visibility this season.

As the leader at SandboxMetropolis, Kiesa will orchestrate and manage sales for Ride in the mid-Atlantic region, covering New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Delaware. A snowboarder for more than 25 years, Kiesa began his sales rep career in the industry in 2000 and founded his boutique sales agency in 2004.

“Kiesa, and his expanded on-the-ground sales team for Ride, will aim to elevate the brands exposure in the region while continuing to cultivate relationships with shop owners and employees,” said Shawn Perod, Ride's U.S. sales and marketing manager.

Keisa said Ride’s roots run deep in the industry. “Pur goal will be to help grow the brand in the region and continue to educate current and new Ride customers,” he added.

As owner of Stubs International, Love has his finger on the pulse of the action sports industry. A sales rep for seven years, Love will manage and oversee sales in the Rockies territory, covering Colorado, Utah, and Wyoming. Love grew up shredding at Beaver Mountain in Utah, and created Denver-based Stubs International more than a year ago. His agency also represents Dragon Alliance, DNA Distribution, Coalatree, and Bult Helmets.

“Nate’s enthusiasm and passion for the industry makes him the perfect fit for the Ride brand,” said Penrod. “We know Stubs International will bring added value to Ride in the Rockies and Nate will be a great ambassador to tell our brand story.”

Love said he’s been a fan of Ride since his days working on the shop floor. “I'm hoping I can exceed the level of hype and momentum around the brand in the Rockies by focusing on current retailers and spending time on the shop floor. I really want to focus on Ride's strengths and use that to drive the business moving forward.”
