Puma is close to deal to sign Jadeveon Clowney, the number one defensive player in the upcoming draft and a possible number one draft pick, to an endorsement contract, according to ESPN.
The signing would come as Puma has stated an attention to more aggressively sign sports stars to help reestablish its authentic sports heritage. It recently signed star Italian soccer forward, Mario Balotelli, and a new sponsorship deal with elite English soccer club, Arsenal FC, replacing Nike.
