Nike, Inc. will not be airing an ad during Super Bowl 60, the company confirmed to Adweek. The move comes after the company ran its first Super Bowl commercial in 27 years last year.

Last year’s commercial, “So Win,” from Wieden+Kennedy Portland, championed women in sport and was widely praised. The ad featured Nike ambassadors Jordan Chiles, Caitlin Clark, Sabrina Ionescu, Sha’Carri Richardson, A’ja Wilson, and Sophia Wilson.

Nike did not provide a reason for its decision to forego a Super Bowl ad this year.

The brand will continue to have a major presence at the game as the NFL’s exclusive supplier of uniforms, sideline, practice, and base-layer apparel.
