REI Co-op added Eric Sprunk, former COO at Nike; John Vandemore, current CFO at Skechers USA, and Lisa Bougie, a partner at Alante Capital, an early-stage venture capital fund investing in climate tech, to its board of directors.

The three fill vacancies following a board election held earlier this year.

Bougie brings over three decades of executive merchandising and general management experience at working for brands and retailers. She is currently a venture partner, serves on multiple boards as an independent director and works to advance climate and environmental concerns through her service on the NACD Climate Advisory Council and the Climate Governance Initiative.

Sprunk is a global leader in the consumer retail industry, boasting over 30 years of experience. During his tenure as chief operating officer at Nike, Sprunk oversaw the organization’s digital transformation, as well as its corporate responsibility and sustainability programs. He has also chaired various fundraising efforts for charitable organizations, including Medical Teams International and the Boys and Girls Club.

Vandemore has over 30 years of experience in finance across the retail, consumer goods, financial services, and entertainment industries. He also brings more than a decade of experience as a board member for both private and public companies. Vandemore is currently the chief financial officer of Skechers and is involved in a variety of local community organizations that support underserved kids.

Each of these board members will be up for re-election in 2028.
